Dr. Shauna Gallagher is a board-certified family medicine physician in the United States and Canada, with advanced training in emergency medicine. Her clinical experience spans private practice, emergency medicine, hospital-based medical care, and most recently, providing Urgent Care in the heart of NYC. Dr. Gallagher served as chief resident of her Family Medicine Residency Program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in NYC after completing her medical school at St. George's University. She then moved to Toronto where she had a successful family medicine practice before completing a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto. She went on to provide emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care across multiple hospitals in Canada.

 

A lifelong runner, college division 1 athlete and now marathoner, Dr. Gallagher brings a deep, personal understanding of athletes and the balance between performance and the demands of everyday life. As a mother of two young daughters and an active member of the Larchmont community, she is passionate about caring for individuals and families who want to feel, function, and perform at their best, at every stage of life

Now based in Larchmont, NY, Dr. Gallagher founded Gallagher Medical to offer a more elevated, thoughtful approach to care, one that is efficient, highly personalized, and grounded in evidence based medicine and 15 years of clinical experience. Her focus is on delivering exceptional care to her local community, without compromise.
